In the next several weeks we will be packing, moving and traveling. We will be in Salina for the month of July and will move into our place in Lawrence come August. Klint begins school in late August, and I will begin working as an assistant teacher at Prairie Moon Waldorf School in early August. I have decided to start little photo business and will begin to give it more attention once we transition from Colorado to Lawrence. I have been considering starting a new food project once my year of breads comes to a close. I have been thinking about pursuing a "part-time" vegetarian lifestyle (at least for lunch), and see how it goes. I would really desire to eat healthier, and I think this would be an interesting personal food photo thing. We shall see.

-In about a week and a half I will head out to Lawrence for an interview as an assistant teacher at Prairie Moon Waldorf School. I am crossing my fingers and holding my breath. I had not heard about a Waldorf education until working at Sunflower Hill; after much research I have come to really like their views on early childhood education. Check it out if you haven't heard of Waldorf.
-We will also be looking for apartments in Lawrence for the upcoming year that same weekend.
-I think we are both ready to move on and try something new again (however, I'll really miss the mountains).

There are lots of life changes this upcoming year.
-Klint was accepted into the University of Kansas School of Law on a full-ride scholarship. Classes begin August and we will move back to Kansas early July.
-We are planning on taking a road trip from Denver to California a few weeks prior to moving (!!!).
-I am seriously considering starting my own small photography business when we move to Lawrence. I've toyed with the idea of working part-time somewhere or nannying for a family while beginning the business until things "take off".
-I have committed to two New Year's resolutions this year. I.- Learn to cook at least one three course traditional French meal. II. - Be able to run ten miles without stopping.
All the best,

Since it has been so long again..here's some the highlights to remember:
-Driving west on Evans in the morning is a great way to start the day- seeing the Rockies never gets old.
-Exploring mountain towns with Klint on the weekends has been fantastic (why wouldn't it be??)
-Klint did extremely well on his LSAT. He's applying to law schools now.
-I am ready for Thanksgiving.

I guess it has been a few months since posting last. I apologize for not getting around to posting anything as of late.
Things have been going well here in Denver. There's been a lot of changes these past couple of months- so much so that I do not even really know where to begin with this blog.
Here's a few highlights:
-Living with Klint in Colorado has been a blessing and I am glad we made the jump to move out here.
-There's so much to see and do and explore. There's always something happening it seems like.
-Klint has decided to study for the LSAT this October so we shall see where we are in a year; in terms of where he gets accepted into law school at.
-THERE ARE REAL COFFEE SHOPS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been enjoying myself with finding new coffee shops around town.
-I remember looking forward to coming to the mountains every year with my family; it's been awesome to not have to wait only once a year to be able to see them. If you walk a few hundred yards outside our apartment you'll be able to see the Rockies in all of their majesty.
-I worked for about a month at Garbonzo's Mediterranean Grill as a line cook and quit when I was hired at Sunflower Hill Childcare Center.
-I am working as a caregiver/assistant teacher at an awesome daycare/preschool. I have the privilege to go on walks to parks, make bread, play outside and paint with 1-5 year olds on a daily basis. I love it.
-I have been attempting to make a weekly bread or pastry since moving here. I love baking and I miss photography, so I do this to satisfy both desires.
That's all I know for now.
With love,
